Equipment Operator 

Murray Resources is in search of multiple Equipment Operators for full time direct hire opportunities in the Odessa, TX area. All Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Location: Odessa, TX

Position Pay: $17.50/HR + Per Diem

Position Type: Direct Hire

Rotation: 2 weeks on, 1 week off (Paid)

Work Hours: 14 Hour Days (12 working, 2 traveling to the site from the man camp) Lots of overtime

Responsibilities:
  • Participate as a crew member in well site and rig up/ rig down operations. Operating Hydraulic Fracturing equipment
  • This position will operate a company vehicle daily between the district and work site to deliver
    products, service tools, and equipment.
  • This position will also operate designated equipment as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of assigned equipment on all locations while under the supervision of the Service Supervisor or other crew members
  • Perform all Pre-job and Post-job maintenance duties and reports, as instructed by the Service Supervisor or other crew members
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment and the cleanliness of the equipment
  • Complete all Pre/Post trip reports for all equipment, under the supervision of the Service Supervisor or other crew members
  • Properly maintain Driver DOT Logs & Maintain satisfactory driving record
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations
  • Perform duties according to documented Standard Operating Practices and comply with all requirements and work place instructions

Requirements:
  • Experience is preferred but not required as a condition of employment
  • Strong commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment (QHSE)
  • Good communication skills and Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies 
  • Ability to learn the disciplines of driving and rigging up equipment on location and assist during the rigging up and down of service lines and equipment at the well site
  • Must be willing to obtain knowledge of pumping standards
  • Ability to learn to operate auxiliary equipment: stake bed, acid transport and sand truck
  • Ability to learn to operate different types of equipment and support well site activity
  • Ability to maintain condition of treating iron
  • Able to pass H2S certification
  • Valid Class A, able to acquire HAZMAT
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations & has good reading comprehension and writing skills
  • Ability to gain the knowledge of and pass Crane Training and other Qualifications as Required
  • Ability to work a “ 24 hour on call” rotational schedule is required; Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours and nights and weekends
