Receptionist

A Downtown company is seeking to fill their Receptionist role as their current Receptionist is retiring.  The Receptionist manages the front desk, conference rooms, hospitality-related responsibilities, and assists with firm administrative functions.

Compensation: $40K to $50K per year

Responsibilities
  • Open and close reception area
  • Meet and greet clients
  • Answer and route phone calls on main phone system
  • Schedule conference rooms
  • Maintain visitor log
  • Revise documents on as-needed basis
  • Assist with administrative functions such as data entry, copies, faxes and mailings
  • Responsible for supply orders for company, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, and stocking of drinks in refrigerator
  • Responsible for mail distribution and logging in of incoming checks and packages sent via courier or FedEx, UPS, etc.
  • Liaison with building management as needed

Requirements
  • Intermediate  computer and Internet skills as well as Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent client service and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
  • Exercise  sound independent judgment under minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, work independently and coordinate workflow
  • College degree with minimum five years relative experience in business, finance, legal, or education environment required
