Account Executive 
 

A growing worldwide logistics company is looking for Account Executives in Dallas, Louisiana, Houston, and Chicago. The Account Executive should be talented in sales and possess outstanding customer service.

Compensation: $55, 000 - $75, 000 Base + Commission Structure

Responsibilities
  • Sell profitable new key business by cold calling, cultivating leads and networking
  • Present customized presentations and proposals to various decision-making audiences to close new business
  • Maintain and increase revenue streams with current key accounts, to include: face to face visits, problem solving and administrative follow-up
  • Apply knowledge of the features and applications of customer-facing technology offerings and solutions
  • Ensure high post-sale satisfaction and positive long-term relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to maximize sales and revenue growth
  • Monitor account statistics and respond to internal sales leads to identify opportunities and create sales strategies
  • Utilize CRM to review leads and document activity
  • Contact prospective clients through email, phone calls and other channels
  • Research leads in order to get past gate keepers and reach decision makers
  • Vet lead criteria such as shipping cost, modes, frequency, etc. to qualify leads
  • Schedule sales demos and appointments for qualified leads
  • Work with assigned sales team members in respective territories
  • Discuss pitfalls and opportunities to secure more qualified leads
  • Participate in webinars, conferences and other continuing education opportunities to learn best practices, improve skills and gain industry insight
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals for qualified leads

Requirements
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or 5 years of equivalent sales experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce preferred
  • Logistics and Freight Forwarding Sales: 2 years (Required)
  • Ability to follow a sales methodology to achieve company sales goals
  • Personable, especially through verbal and written communication
  • Driven and tenacious with the ability to be professionally persistent and persuasive
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Team player yet capable of working independently
  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel) intermediate skills are required
  • Experience with a CRM
