Our client, an Oil and Gas services company, is seeking a skilled Health and Wellness Plan Manager! Based in The Woodlands, with almost 2000 employees, this is an awesome opportunity to join a growing team!    

Salary: $75, 000 - $100, 000

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the Wellsite US H&W plans: vendor contracts, selection process, plan administration for this newly created public company. This includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, EAP, Disability, Wellness, Global Mobility.
  • Working with the CHRO, Director of Total Rewards and the Wellsite HR Leaders, ensures market applicable H&W plan design, vendor partnerships and plan administration.
  • Develops communications for changes in plans, procedures and practices
  • Applies employee benefit policy related knowledge and skill sets to determine current benefit trends and compliance with legislative and functional program requirements.
  • Address escalated employee issues related to plan benefits and seeks fair, equitable and timely resolution.
  • Participates in benefit plan renewal process to include negotiation of contracts and correct implementation of plan rules
  • Provide training on new benefit laws and regulations to team to ensure compliance
  • Acts as a liaison with HRIS and IT to improve function of benefits applications system Oversees a variety of testing tasks in support of annual enrollment, benefits administration, and mid-year plan changes when necessary. Conducts ongoing system and other audits of the Plans.
  • Maintains and edits contracts and plan documents.
  • Understands and communicates the deliverables that apply to plan designs as well as the technical specifications.
  • Applies employee benefit policy related knowledge and skill sets to determine current benefit trends and compliance with legislative and functional program requirements.
  • Address escalated employee issues related to plan benefits and seeks fair, equitable and timely resolution.
  • Participates in benefit plan renewal process to include negotiation of contracts and correct implementation of plan rules

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in related field (business, management, or HR)
  • 8+ years in US H&W plan management and administration area
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management in the H&W space
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of employee benefits policies, contracts, service agreements and implementation requirements
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers and benefits team. Provides excellent customer service both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experienced in developing Benefits communication materials
  • Ability to prepare and present information to guests, more senior associates, vendors and management
