Business Development Manager

Kingwood Personnel, an award-winning Houston recruiting and staffing firm, is growing and looking to add an exceptional Business Development Manager with experience selling recruiting services to join our award-winning team. The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing qualified new business accounts for our professional division. This position will be located in our Kingwood  office.

To be successful this person must be highly driven, have a strong sales aptitude, and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, as well as embrace our commitment for excellence through best practices derived from decades of experience in the staffing industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Cold calling
  • Prospect qualification
  • Seeking and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Writing proposals
  • Sales process planning
  • Negotiation
  • Closing
  • Achieving sales targets / quotas
  • Follow-up with accounts / customer satisfaction
  • Networking actively in target business organizations

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of selling recruiting services for a recruiting agency
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and interface with professionals face-to-face
  • Sales aptitude and competitive nature, a must win attitude
  • Strong work ethic motivated by compensation and results
  • Experience and comfortable working with a CRM. Proficiency with Bullhorn is a big plus.
