Murray Resources has partnered with a large Oil and Gas company and is in search of multiple ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN  for full time direct hire opportunities in the Odessa, TX area. Training will be provided on well site equipment! All Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. 

Position Type:  Direct Hire

Position Location:  Odessa, TX

Position Pay:  20/HR + Per Diem

Position Rotation:  2 weeks on, 1 week off (week off is paid)

Work Hours: 14 Hour Days (12 working, 2 traveling to the site from the man camp) Lots of overtime Available

# of positions available: 5

  • Responsible for the coordination of electrical systems and functions at the base location
  • Ensure self-training is complete regarding all new equipment, prototypes and innovations
  • Routine documentation and testing of all equipment
  • Responsible for the upkeep of electronics work area and all associated surroundings
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations

  • Strong commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment (QHSE)
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience is preferred but not required as a condition of employment
  • Basic computer and instrument knowledge
  • Reading comprehension and writing skills

Physical Job Demands:
  • Exposure to weather – Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather
  • Atmospheric Conditions – Exposure to conditions such as fumes, noxious odors, dusts, mists, and gases
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when applicable
  • Required to travel to job sites for a week or more at a time in a designated area
  • Must be able to work long periods of time, including nights and weekends
  • Must have efficient eye-hand coordination
  • Must be able to perform physical labor involved frequent lifting (over 50 lbs.), carrying, bending, and shoveling
