Large HVAC Distributor in Houston is adding a Receptionist to their Southeast Houston office. This position will be responsible for the front desk and supporting staff at this location. This is a temp-to-hire position.
Compensation: $12 to $16 per hour
- Answer phones directing caller to the appropriate employee.
- Prepare coffee and maintain tidiness of the office.
- Review and maintain office supplies.
- Manage visitors in through the main gate and front door greeting them and ensuring they sign in and follow proper badging procedure.
- Receive all packages from FedEx/UPS and log everything in the log book.
- Receive postal mail and distribute appropriately.
- Stamp all going out mail.
- Send Tool Room Timesheet to Payroll for processing.
- Scan, email and send 15/last of the month Office Timesheets to Payroll.
- Scan paperwork for the dispatchers.
- Scan contracts and make file folders for them.
- Email or mail out invoices.
- Book Conference Rooms when requested.
- Prepare reports monthly.
- Assist with filing or getting information on company vehicles.
- Assist with PO information.
- Prepare shipping labels.
- Three (3) years or more of related experience.
- Must possess excellent telephone etiquette, communication skills both verbal and written, professionalism, customer focus, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Must have High School Diploma.
